Functionality and compatibility

The Juniper MIC-3D-2XGE-XFP is an interface module designed to expand 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity on MX Series routers. This MIC incorporates two XFP ports, allowing the implementation of high-speed links for backbone traffic, interconnection between data centers and operator networks. It is compatible with all MX routers that support MICs, providing flexibility in the choice of optics depending on distance and fiber type requirements. XFP optics are purchased separately.
